CONTEMPORARY APPROACHES TO ORGANIZATION OF TRANSLATION TRAINING

Abstract
The article examines the problems of organizing translation training. It provides a historical background of approaches to transaltion training and analyzes the contemporary models and theories. An increased focus is put on organizing translation training in the context of interpretative theory of translation (“theory of meaning”), specifically the importance of students’ pre-training for translation.
