Abstract
The article describes the possibility of studying the basics of pedagogical knowledge of future teachers of physical culture in the model of determination and clarification of education as one of the main categories in the teacher preparation in physical education. Category "education" is defined by the future teachers in the system of ideas and development of student's personality and the quality of implementation of ideas of humanism and health care.
