Abstract
The direct and reverse brainstorming is both a method of engineering creativity and active learning by students. The article deals the features of these interrelated methods, as well as features of training to engineering creativity in practical classes on the subject "Engineering Creativity" in technical universities. The method is efficient and requires a wide range of applications in order to form the creative part of the professional competencies of future engineers.
