Abstract
This article discusses the importance of using methods of mathematical processing of data in the research works of students. Shows a fragment of the work devoted to the study of climate change in the European North, on the basis of which discusses possible options for processing and analysis of data. Using these methods will undoubtedly increase the practical relevance and the level of scientific works of students
