Abstract
This paper examines the possibility of the integration of mathematics with the Humanities, in particular history. Following is an example of the cultural-educational program front work with students in grades 5-9 titled "History of mathematics". The development is aimed at: the development of universal educational actions; activization of cognitive activity of students; motivation for successful learning in mathematics. The work is carried out with pupils of 5 "B" grade School number 1 of Solikamsk.
