Abstract
The article discusses the available courses in the field of environmental education provided major platforms MOOC: Coursera, Udacity, edX. Explained the general principles MOOC. The evaluation of existing courses in ecology and environmentology. We consider the standard program of the course. Evaluated the advantages and disadvantages MOOC compared to traditional education.
