Abstract
The article examines the process of intercultural communication of students in the higher school of the Russian Federation. This type of communication serves as one of the aspects of successful adaptation of foreign students. We conducted a survey among foreign students to trace the patterns of relationships in the international student community. Interculturality helps foreign students to feel closer to each other and allows you to adjust the process of adaptation over time, contributes to the development of various nuances of cultural identity.
