Abstract
The study aims to examine the conformity students methods of memorization training material in preparation for the exams with individual specific types of memory and correlation of identified compliance or noncompliance with the academic performance of students. In the analysis it was identified the main types of memory, individual ways of storing educational material. The article presents an empirical study to determine the type of individual students' memory. Recommendations how better to prepare for seminars, tests and exams, taking into account the type of memory.
