THE CONCEPT OF FATE IN CONFUCIANISM

Abstract
Under fate, one should understand the vicissitudes experienced by the person throughout his existence in the universe. Understanding man's own personal life can be divided into four categories: fate ruled by God, fate determined by the laws of nature, chance to transcend fate, fate is determined partly by biology, partly implemented in practical moral principles. According to the first concept, people have created the transcendental God who is the source of all human values, and he controls the destiny of man. According to the second concept, people assume that to resist the tide of fate it is impossible, but do not allow the existence of the Lord of the universe. The third concept requires that one should learn to accept the existence of fate in order to transcend. According to the fourth concept of humans as beings endowed with consciousness and self-consciousness for the execution of the heaven mission, one should actively practice the application of moral principles limiting personal selfish interests.
