Abstract
The paper analyzes the principles of formation of “research competences” in terms of pedagogical master degree programs: the principle of the unity of subject and method of learning, study the structure and content of research competencies, verbal formulation of competence, the principle of "teaching text", the principle of measurable learning outcomes.
