Abstract
The article discusses the development and current state of a virtual educational space, reveals the need for practical implementation of Internet technologies in the educational process, gives examples updated by the author. In conclusion, the author mentions the tendencies of further virtualization development according to the informatization program of the Republic of Belarus.
