Abstract
The time we live in is the time of economic and political changes in country, the era of the technological revolution and exponential growth of new knowledge. It dictates the requirements for the content, conditions and the results of the educational process on all levels. Today, it is important to give the children not only possible amount of knowledge, but also its cultural, personal and cognitive enrichment, to equip such an important skill as the ability to study. The author in her article describes one the current methods of English teaching - "Language Portfolio".
