Abstract
The main bulk of literature devoted to the Confucianism is focused upon the importance of the Confucianism for China. Little attention is being paid to the comparison of the Confucianism development in Korea and in Japan. It’s high time to analyze the societies having got shaped in these countries minding the fact that the Confucianism continues retaining its dominant role there. The most principal idea ascribed to Confucius should be recognized as an idea of humaneness. The humaneness means not to cause a human being what he does not wish. The concept of the humaneness should be considered the cardinal idea of the Confucian philosophy.
Keywords: Confucius, doctrine, government, human being, humanism, Korea, progeny
