Abstract
The article deals with the evaluation of the level of formation of professional competences of students within the technical disciplines. Proposed by description competency for descriptors: know, be able, to master skills and the method of weighted estimates for ascertaining the level of formation of professional competence students.
the experience of applying the method of weighted estimates of the costs of the level of formation of professional competence of students in the study of discipline «Mechanical equip-ment and means of automatist» are describes in this article.
